My focus as an art dealer is on paintings, sculptures and works on paper by leading artists from classical modern and post-war to international contemporary art, important works of Swiss art and selected works of contemporary photography.
As an art dealer, I work discreetly within my international network and deliberately without any public presentation of works of art to be sold. During the sale of a specific work of art, the question often arises as to whether it should be sold in an art auction or by a specialized art dealer? The advantage of the one path is the disadvantage of the other – and vice versa.
Over the course of my professional career as an art dealer, I have sold considerably more than 1,000 works of art. My international client base includes private collectors, financial services and insurance companies, law firms and family offices, foundations, corporate collections and art museums.
As an agent I mediate individual works of art or entire art collections between sellers and buyers, and develop the most suitable selling strategy for each individual case.
On behalf of my clients, I search for a specific work of art to fill a gap in a particular client’s art collection or to fulfill a long-cherished collector’s wish.
I work directly with a carefully selected small circle of contemporary artists and can arrange access to their studios.
